Vendor Terms

1. Eligibility and verification

Vendor listings are open to genuine wedding-related businesses with a lawful registration (proprietorship, partnership, LLP, or company) and, where applicable, a valid GST registration.

You must provide accurate business details and documentary evidence (registration or GST certificate) when requested. Listings activate only after verification, which we aim to complete within two working days. We may decline or remove listings at our discretion, with reasons on request.

2. Your listing

You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate — categories, service area, pricing guidance, portfolio, and contact details. Portfolio images must be your own work or used with permission; you grant Nischaya a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display listing content on the Platform.

You may not: list services you do not actually provide; post misleading prices or fake reviews; harvest member data for purposes beyond responding to enquiries; or redirect members to off-platform payment to evade applicable featured-placement fees.

3. Enquiries and member data

Enquiries come from members who choose to contact you. Member contact details shared through an enquiry may be used only to respond to that enquiry — not added to marketing lists, resold, or retained after the matter is closed.

Response quality matters: vendors who repeatedly ignore enquiries or receive upheld complaints may be deprioritised, suspended, or removed.

4. Fees

Standard listing is free. Featured placement and promotional products are optional, priced as shown in the vendor dashboard, billed in advance, and non-refundable once the placement has run. We never charge commission on bookings you close, on or off the Platform.

Applicable GST will be added to paid products, and GST invoices will be issued to your registered details.

5. Reviews and ratings

Members may review completed engagements. Reviews are published as received, subject to moderation for abuse and unlawful content. You may respond to reviews and may flag a review for moderation where you believe it is fake or defamatory.

6. Relationship of the parties

You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture with Nischaya. Contracts for services are formed solely between you and the member; Nischaya is not a party and is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, delivery, or payment of your services.

You are responsible for your own taxes, licences, and compliance with laws applicable to your business (including consumer protection and contract obligations toward members).

7. Indemnity and liability

You agree to indemnify Nischaya against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your services, your listing content, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nischaya's aggregate liability to a vendor shall not exceed the fees paid by that vendor in the preceding twelve months. We do not guarantee any volume of enquiries or business.

8. Termination and governing law

You may remove your listing at any time from the vendor dashboard. We may suspend or remove listings for breach of these terms, upheld member complaints, or unlawful conduct. Sections on member data, indemnity, and liability survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Grievances: grievance@nischaya.example — acknowledged within 24 hours, resolved within 15 days.
